unless u spend a grand or so u wont have coilovers on the rear. i wouldnt use trhe cheap kits from ebay etc, check out my link below.

Most kits are just the front as the rear is torsion bars. Cheap kits will just give you a ring you weld or some time screw on to your stock beam. Good kits such as Leda and Pro flex will re engineer a stock strut or provide a totally new strut. None are really intended or even that suitable for road cars.

cool cheers so what would you recomend for a nice road setup. It needs to be quite stiff cus if I have 2 people in the back the rear tyres scrub on inner arches so I want it firm so it doesn't scrub

ooo pete you have realised your guide was shite.

you can have your own custom struts made up cheap mate. parts can be brought from rally design or demon tweaks

Id speak to Ryan or AlexR they are both well clued up when it comes to damping rates.

Id imagine if you set the car up for having a bit of weight in the back, not having the weight in the back would mean you'd risk spinning quite badly on a slightly bumpy road.

if the rear scrubbs with people in the back then you wana do some work before lowering the car, rolling the arches and checking clearances all round the rears then you should be all good to lower her!
