i dont kno what to choose!!

for all noise and pretty much no performance...K&N, for performance BMC, Pippercross gives out some noise too. look back at some previous threads, all you want to know will be on there somewhere mate

I have a Pipercross Viper Induction kit on my 2001 Saxo VTR. Gives a good amount of noise and good throttle response. Def turns heads when you go for it.

ive got an open pipercross filter and in high revs its can be heard for some distance!just remember open filters give you more noise than enclosed filters which give you better performance.

Get an enclosed induction kit, you'll just slow the car down with an open air filter. had a dabble with a guy (vtr vs vtr) who's just using a pipercross (not viper) vs my standard one(on a private strip). I pulled about 6 to 7 car lengths on him and we're both same level of driver, same age of car same milage etc.

the guy says he wants more noise. So for him an open filter would be better as hes more into noise than performance

i recomend you Raceland induction kit.if you want to make the air induction better than the Citroen engineers chose the best solution which is the close kit.greetings

My vote is for the Green enclosed kit not for noise tho for looks and performance

i think i would rather have a comprimise between sound and performance to be honest. sounds like the green filter for tht, but isnt the BMC ment to be popular so its gud right?

PiperCross or green for noise, BMC if you want better throttle responce.... let me tel you... wen i fitted my bmc & opened her up, the sound was great.... not a deep sucking noise like your misses may make... sorry bit rude! LOL but a wel.... quess your never know kinda noise... i wouldnt go back to pipercross!

I also vouch for bmc although my viper wasnt that bad.
but the best kit for a vtr is the itg maxogen

RIBstaff how cum in ur signiture ity says larger BMC?

how cum its larger lol? are they better
  15. #15
bmc is universal can get larger or smaller.

    again best kit never proven

    i got a k&n for my vtr

It wont suck more just thicker feeds and bmc itself, only diff im aware of is that it can handle upto 750 bhp.

    (like thats going to happen)
