#2Has it seized up completely? Are you sure it had oil in it? Fucked piston rings, scoured the chamber.. e.t.c

#6Yeah, did you buy it off ebay or on here or whatever, i know its not any real conselation but negative feedback thee bitchhh
-
#7ahh not good, chances are you will be looking at a head rebuild atleast,

#8tbf mate if your fitting a new engine its not exactly the blokes fault you ahould have checked it over before fitting? did you not check the engine turned freely when you bought it? if it was me id have done the head gaske tand belt when the engine was out, its just common sense really, good service, you never know what your buying and its 20 times easier with the engine out, has the tensioner not come off or snapped? it it was timed rong it would have fucked soon as you turned the key? the way youve described it it sounds like its just happend when running?

#9well the person i bought it off said he had taken it to a garage and had the head gasket and timing belt done and i believe him he seemed a nice genuine bloke, but now ive had the head off the engine and the valves have spanked the head of the pistons its basically a re-build project now for me and my mechanic mate wheres the best place to get new pistons and valves cheap?

#10should have turned it over by hand first to check it was all ok.
