engine swap woes !!!!

hi just a querie a got a saxo vtr wiv a gud engine for tooo cheap to turn down and i have a saxo exclusive 1.4 an am gana swap the engines over do i have to swap the full loom from the vtr or is there a split point just for ecu plug ?????? any advice wud be appreciated thanks am lazy a want it done yesterday lol
