suspension... kit or springs?

   i dont wanna spend to much wen i get my saxo, i wanna lower it though, shud i splash out on a suspension kit or just some sports springs to lower it?

   unless your car has bilstein or some random make of shorter dampers then your car wont be 55mm at the front anyways.

   I'm lowered 40 front and 50 back on a full SPAX VSX KIT and it rides beautiful
   
   Get a full kit. Getting springs only will only cause problems further down the line (Increased Shock wear, etc.)

   if you dont have shorter dampers ie bilstein or another make that is shorted than the std ones, koni are full length as are all the rest ie spax, gmax etc, then if you put 55mm 60mm springs on it will only lower 40mm as the dampers are too long.
