Volt gauge

    Can someone give me an idea on what wires need to go where.

    on the back its got 3 terminals. labelled G , I and S

    plus got two wires coming from the back which are one black one white.

    im assuming the G and I is ground and ignition?

    what colors are they, should be black (ground) red (live) yellow (illumination)

    red is ur live, u can wire that up to any live terminal, stereo or sumin like that, just add crimp on them and find any live point, normally this would be a yellow wire on the set as this isnt a permnant live

    black is normally ground which can be wired to any good ground point

    and u should have a yellow, which will be ur S wire, this for the side lights (illumination), if u connect this up to ur sidelights, ur gauge will dim when u put ur sidelights on.

    if u dont want this feature and want ur gauge light on all the time, then just connect the illumination wire (yellow) and ground (black) wire together

    Easy way to wire them up is to use the wires on the back of the ciggy lighter.
