Well when we took of the old shitty tyre and tryed to put on the 16" fox racing alloys the place where you would put the locking wheel nut back in wouldnt reach there was about a inch gap.

just looking on the internet and would the fox racing 16" that wouldnt fit before, fit if i used a alloy wheel spacer?
  14. #14
my 15'' fit fine no rubbing anywhere and mines not lowered, no rubbing on full lock either but have got spacers and long wheel bolts on too.

ohh sweet im taking it that if you didnt have the spacer and long wheel bolts it wouldnt fit/reach?
  16. #16
are the bolts too long or too short, either way you need alloy wheel bolts but if they are too long spacers would help

yeh mate i think your right i will need bolts and spacers. i think ive figured it out now. Cheers for you help guys, much appriciated (y)
  18. #18
needed the spacers cos i think mine are 45 or 50, so without spacers the front wheels would rub on the springs

Be careful when fitting big wheels as going over the overall diamter of your orginal wheels plus tires will see you eating wheel bearings for joke.

Any details of wheels you've bought?
    Ebay ad, shop link etc?
15's on 1.1 flatarches tend to rub with people in the car.
15's on VT's are no probs even lowered.
16's on a 45 profile mostly rubs too.
    16's on a 40 profiile won't rub.
    17's will need arch modifications.
