W Reg VTR. bhp?

    i have a vtr finaly! its a w reg and the engine bay looks different to my old t reg westie (obv) but i know early vtrs were 90bhp and later ones 98bhp.
    anyone shed any light as to which one i have?
    the airbox is a cylider if that helps

    buying ashley manifold (decat)
    have a cotton green.
    buying cams in the furure + pullys...surely the cams will take it higher than 100?!?
    some knarly ones anyway?

    What cams do you want to use depends on how wild they are.

    Why do people say cams when a vtr has only one camshaft? Am I mising something lol?

    aup m8 iv just got a w reg vtr, got 4-2-1 racing maniflod, d-cat straight thru pipe wiv performance exaughst n insuction kit wiv carbonj intake, rekon its runnin bw 105bhp

    read my spec in my sig I've done that and got 107bhp at the flywheel from a w reg 90bhp engine. 75bhp atw

    you have gained 17bhp from a mani and centre section??

    Nope, blacktops have non-roller rocker cams, where as both silvertops (90 & 98bhp) have roller rockers cams & knock sensor.

    seems abit much, you had a remap since fitting?
