how to apply door pillar viynl?

   before i get some new black door pillar viynls, any tips on how to apply it. i dont want to fook it up. and do i need to remove any rubber seals? thanks

   surely this would be the same as applying window tints?
   
   make sure its warm before you apply it (best for the glue) then smooth out with a credit card or something to avoid bubbles?

   wet a piece of cloth with water put some washing up liquid on it
   rub on to pillar then apply
   smooth with a stiff piece of card

   dont even need a card just make sure its lined up start from the seal side and its all easy after that
