Heat Wrapping.

   I'm planning on getting an after market manifold soon, and I plan to heat wrap it but I've known people heat wrap there whole exhaust (upto back box) what are the pro's and con's behind this?
   
   Anymore of a performance increase with your exhaust being hotter, heat wraps expensive stuff i'd rather not buy more than i need to.

   Tbh mate ide just wrap the manifold...

   problem with wrapping the whole exhaust is that the underside part would start to rot due to the longer exposures with damp etc.
   
   TBH heatwrap is not about performance its about heat management.

   Can that be solved by painting the centre section first before heat wrapping it?
