what paint for oil filler cap, radiator cap e.t.c

    Basicaly ive already painted them with halfords ford panther black and laquer and they have just flaked within a few miles with the heat from the engine. Only the coilpack cover hasnt. what paint will stop this from happening?

    heat resistant paint?

    maybe metal paint too.. ? (thats just a guess)

    Plastic Primer --> Normal Primer --> Colour Coat --> Lacquer

    You may as well get all the plastic bits off and do them all at once to save time further down the line.

    this is exactly what ive done and it still peeled with the heat. what sort of heat proof paint is there around?

    majority of metal paint is heat proof i thought, may be wrong?
