Ive pretty much spec'd the inside of the car up now so i can get a cage... finally.

    Any advice? Where to buy?

Im not really interested in what it looks like or how much it costs just want the car to be as death proof as possible!.

Would it be possible to get a SD cage and weld aditional bars to it?.

Geronimo cages mate, They built my cage to MSA spec from clubman CDS steel, they do alot of race & rally cars. They also support this forum & if you get your act together this month they have a special sax p promotion on.

They quality is deffo as good as Safety devices or OMP plus you get it fully finished in powder coat in a choice of colours.

Could just buy the sd 1 that you'd require with cross door bars etc would/nt really need to weld additional bars but don't see why it would be a problem.

Anything that is fully braced and MSA spec will be fine as long as fitter properly. Though they are only safe if used along with MSA/FIA seats, MSA/FIA 5 point safety belts and a good helmet, Ones with the relevant Snell certification are best.

    You planning on crashing Ste?

That one I had was modified so no reason why you couldn't mod any other, just make sure the welds are stronger than the metal if you do add more bars so they don't shear away and skewer you
