99 VTR Exhaust System Troubles.

   Hello guys need some help!
   
   Long story cut short I ordered up a Piper 3" backbox for my MK1 99 Saxo VTR. My problem is ages ago STS had it to replace the centre section and middle box. Now when I went to fit my new piper it wouldn't fit as the centre pipe had a lip welded on it, so the only option was to cut the lip off. However now the centre pipe doesn't go into the box enough even after only cutting about 2cm max off the centre section :/ so atm my exhasut system is bodged and blowing like a bitch!
   
   Is my best option to buy and fit a new middle box/centre pipe that will defo reach enough to the piper? If so where can I get one from? I have been told about exhaust sleeves too but I'm pretty sure it won't work!

   Edit:// STS wankers welded the middle box to the centre pipe which is why I need both.

   you could get a supersprint centre section. the race one replaces both middle sections of pipe and fits to the piper backbox

   exhaust sleaves work great find out the int bore or the ext bore best to go for a ext one only cost about 6-7 quid cheepist option shame to have to replace it if this is the only thing wrong with it allot of places call them a NOBLOW clamp try it first could save you allot of money.

   sorry bud forgot to tell you get the ext bore of your exhuast and ask for a clamp with the int bore the same size as the ext bore of your ex
