De-Catting my Westie.........

Right, the Cat on my car is about the size of 2 fag packet's laid end-to-end. I don't think it's worth a wank. I've been told I could probably pass an emmisions test without it. Is this true?

no, i left mine out just to try because i knew the MOT station and they just laughed at me and told me to take the car back when it was fitted with the cat because the emissions when crazy.....thats my experiance anyway mate..

It may pass it may not, I changed mine when it was due for mot but scotts passed two emissions tests without the cat so you never know

you will have to suck it and see mate, all it means is you will have to make two visits if it fails... theres only three bolt id just change it and you know it will pass, but its your call...

or give the tester 50 quid. or just bolt it in for the tst then unbolt it should take you about 10mins to do it.
