Important! : constant oil leak once engine is on

    right my mk1 vtr is leaking alot of oil day by day i have to top it up i have noticed that it only does it when the engine is on in which case i assume its because it is under pressure. im not sure whether it is the sump or sump gasket iv check expansion tank and there isnt much pressure in there so i doubt its the head gasket was wondering if ny one new and as to how har it is to fit as it look a pain in the arse with the car being lowered or am i just being wimpy lol is there a thread for it any where thank in advance

    check the oil preshure switch it on the rear of engin half way up start the engin and should be able to see it from under bonnet on the 8v

    what you need to do is get it jacked up degrease the engine block/sump anywhere there is oil then wash it off start the engine up and wait to see where its coming from then go from there....
