yeah seems pretty well matched but i would like ratios just a touch closer!? all the others boxes a waste of time then?

Erm the final drive is totally different, giving totally different in gear speeds and performance.

There are NO close ratio gear clusters for saxos which were made in production cars, they are usually the same gear cluster with a different final drive.

A gearbox will have more effects on performance than something like an exhaustand air filter in most cases

Im saying hes talking crap.

1.4xsi is the box of choice for most people though as you can still retain some form of economy on longer drives/theoretical top end.

Ive just switched from my s2 box to an xsi box (well will do when I fit it) due to the way the final drive will effect my in gear speeds.
