This may sound silly but is it possible to fit uprated pads without changing the disks. bearning in mind the discs pretty new so wanted to get the life out of them but my rear pads need a change..

#6Green stuff fine. Most uprated pads are too. Its the full on race pads that will grind away cheap discs.
cheers

#7green stuffs are turd....
so are ebc in general -
#8what make would you recommend then ?..

#9personally i wounldnt even bother upgrading pads without even changing disks or calipers.
you cant really make 247mm front brakes good so dont waste your money, try get a 283 or 266 at least then go for uprated disks and pads with braided lines.
but it depends what you want them for, if you not going on track, oe brakes are fine -
#10New standard 247 disks with some mintex 1144's all round is a very good road use set up imo...if you drive/use them right
-
#11if they are new you may get away with it, but old disks will have worn unevenly so you will get extra wear when fitting new pads as they mould to the shape of the disk. Mintex 1144's are a cut above the EBC range tbh.

#12i suppose i could get the kam racing pack .. with the standard disks i think it is .,, and the mintex pads,, http://www.kamracing.co.uk/citroen-s...-vts-1846.html thems the babies ! lol

#13i fairly confident that my rebuilt standard calipers with new standard discs and 1144's and braided lines are more than ample for fast road/ occasional track sessions.
