  1. #1
was t-cutting my badges today and decided to take some photos as i went along and now their on photobucket i thought i mite as well make a quick how to!!

for complete idiots t-cutting your badges will make them black!!

here's how they look to start with

first thing first get some t-cut!!

then put it on a cloth and start to rub in into the badges pressing quite hard!! (harder you press the quicker they will turn black!!)

and there you go quick simple cheap and looks grate!!

i like that idea but everyone is doing it now and i want to be diffrent lol
  12. #12
Rather than use a £7.50 bottle of t cut which you will never use again just use 1500 wet and dry and then a quick spray with some back to black
  13. #13
i used a bottle from work lol
  14. #14
i did the saxo badge and didnt realise how hard you had to rub, my hand was aching so i didnt do the citroen one

ive had odd badges for months now lol
  15. #15

It may sound stupid and this is my first post but when using t-cut does it matter if you get it on the car paint work will it remove it, if not would it work for removing a parking scratch??????

No, it doesn't matter if it goes on the paint work and it depends how deep the scratch is.

Think I might make mine black so it matches the bumpers
  22. #22
plus it makes your badges look 100 times beter!!
  23. #23
already a guide on it tbh
  24. #24
tempted now! and i have some t-cut lying around.........
  25. #25
i always think that it looks loads better just taking them off and spraying them the same colour as the car, u get a nice blended in look and they dnt look all dull and scratched either.
  26. #26
    Giving this a try today
  27. #27
that seems efficent, will do that this weekend! nice1
  28. #28
I have white spray paint to do mine, if I hairdryer them off, will I need to glue them back on or can I just slot them back into the holes they come out of without re-gluing?
  29. #29
T-cutted mine on the weekend...looks sweet on my black spaxo!
  30. #30
    A guide to T cutting badges...........seriously?
  31. #31
I think that if you have to read a guide to find how to do this then you should not be allowed to touch a car....

with an axe. One clean swing does the trick. Of course you may practice on a pint milk bottle before having a go on the t cut.

Haha i was reading this before i tcut mine, thinking grow a pair to all the guys moaning about how hard it is to get off.. and now my thumb is paying the price lol.. Just harder you rub, the quicker it comes off, but the harder you rub, the quicker your skin also comes off. Looks great though! :>
