   Hi
   Av bought a mk1 saxo and ive ad it 4 a while now,, I gave it a new paint job and added a sub an new door speakers.
   Ive bin thinkin bout puttin a VT kit on to make it look like a VTR or VTS but im not sure so does anyone av any advice to give me, Just wanna know if its worth doin or not.

   First off mate, don't use text talk
   
   Its completely up to you what you want to do with your car, some people on here will be like " it's not worth it, just get a vts"
   
   But if you are planning on keeping the 1.1 for a while for insurance, running costs or whatever reason then who's to say you can't make it look good.
   
   There are a few flat arches on here at the moment, take a look in some of the progress threads

   And thanks for the advice, i would like a VTR but i cant afford to buy it or afford the insurance so im just gunna stick with what i got for now

   That's fair enough mate
   
   You can get plenty of inspiration off here, and some of the flat arches look better then the vt*'s
   
   and there is always the option of dropping an vts lump in when the money comes
   
   get some photo's up and start a progress thread mate and i see you are from nuneaton, get in the west mids region. some top class people in there

   most people go for new wheels to start off with mate but if you can't afford them then smoked rear jewels are a popular mod and look great. also as a cheap mod you could t-cut the badges on the boot and de-wiper it. good luck mate!

   I've got the 1.1 as well and I'm also considering putting the vt* kit on but I'm going to keep it flat arch until I've done a few more bits and bobs. If I was you I'd consider getting some smoked jewel rear lights (or use tint spray on your standards) and put the standard roof spoiler on as they're relatively cheap mods and really transform the rear end.

   Well ive been looking on ebay and found some fairly cheep smoked rear lights that am hoping to get, and im also getting some 15 inch alloys hopefully this weekend to smarten it up, do you think i should lower it once i put the alloys on because it sits quite high as it is

    Ive got a 1.1 forte flat arch,, a but of inspiration mate smoked jewels or smoked rears,, de-wiper rear, t-cut badges, mirror caps and clear/smoked indicators if you havent got them already, 'R' OR 'S' alloys,paint calipers Check my progress thread if you need do see any of the above,,good luck mate.

    Noticed that you're from Nuneaton too Theres about 10 of us on here that either live in Nuneaton aswel or live within a few miles (Bedworth, Cov, or Tamworth etc)

    Thanks for all the advice guys, just waiting for sum extra cash to come in so i can do the little bits to get it through the MOT, and then i am going to start do some more mods to it.
    I got the rear smoked tail lights of ebay, Am really desperate to get some 15'' 3 stud alloys though but am struggling to get some so if anyone knows of anywhere within reason of where i live then please let me know.

    best thing to do mate is get ur rear debagded...lexus or smoked lights...lowered once u got ur alloys on...maybe uprated exhaust....painted interior..all fairly cheap mods that pretty easy to do. if however your looking for power..once you got funds..drop a vtr/s engine in with wiring loom..just make your car yours.
