as you might know im lowering the torsion bar myself atm
or trying anyway, managed to get the anti-roll bar out today, however -
the torx at either end of the torsion bars will NOT budge. ive got one off, and the washer...but the other 3!!! ugh, dispite the 2 at the opposite ends are seriously inaccesable to say the least, the facing one on the passenger side isnt going anywhere tbh.
seriously, ive tryed pretty much everything possible
one of them is rounding, am i going to have to drill it out and buy another screw??
surely someones had this problem before? what did you do?!
    thanks

Strange I have never had one stuck before. It has a real risk of going wrong but what you can do is drill the heads off the trox. Then pull the hole arm off along with the bars. You then use a vice to clamp up the stub of the torx that was left and unscrew that. Then get new torx bolts from PSA (they don't cost much)

Or you could hammer a bigger Torx bit in and hope for the best.

i to tryed to lower the torsion bar today and i'm no mechanic i got to the part where your supposed to take the plates of each end and gave up due to the inaccessibility of it all and plus the fact i didnt have a slide hammer it was a real cock up really. on trying to put one of the screws back in it rounded so was really tamping! i say better left to the experts or expect serious head aches lol

try and hammer it round with a flat headed scredriver or small chisel!

invest in an impact driver for next time, chizle in hammer will do it like.

get drill out. all nuts/bolts/screws i can never get out i get drill out get a whole straight through middle then you can weaken it, and it should easily come off.

never been anywhere near the torxs bolts on my axel but could you not get a hacksaw blade or something and make a slit in it so you can then use a big flat head.

Dremmel is the tool of the gods tbh

make a nice lil groove in 1 side of the bolt then tap into it with a hammer and screwdriver once it shifts itll generally be finger tight the rest of the way out
