I want to lower my car by 40MM allround, but im not sure what i will need and how much im looking to pay, I know i will need to save up some money but how much do you think it will end up being?

depends on if your buying just springs or fully adjustabe dampers etc! If your can find someone in your area or off to do the torsion bar it will keep the price down unless you can do it all yourself. Springs are like £60 ish iirc.... and the TB can be ridiculously expensive depending on the condition of it!

Its worth saving up and getting a specialist to do it properley. Your looking at around £200 for it to be lowered all round.

try the torsion bar yourself by all means...
ive been workin on it for about 5 days now and both bars are still stuck =)
time to try again...

Same as, We've done a few now and we charge 100quid al round or 70quid just the rear. Takes about a morning to do it the propper way so as not to ruin the trailing arm bearings.

I think he was saying £200 allround meaning buying the springs for the front and getting someone to fit them and lower the torsion bar. £100 for the labour is about right.
