#2you migh be able to drill through it fit a pipe and seal it...
-
#3You just drill a hole as high as you can in it to fit a oil pipe. Some pople weld a nut on it but you dont have to
ps. the oil pipe MUST be above the oil level -
#4fairly easy all things considered, just weld a fitting on near the top. Whist were on the subject has anybody trapdoor their sump? Was looking for pictures a while ago to try make my own but didnt really find much of use, i think it would be a worthwhile mod on a boosted lump
-
#5Dont just weld it willy nilly though, the return needs to be free of bends/kinks/loops etc. Try and get it mocked up so the return is as free flowing as possible.
-
#6No but I have had a few large baffled sumps. You can make large ones by welding a box to lower back of the sump then drill upper and lower holes in the stock sump to let the oil pass
-
#7yeah i know what you mean, to increase sump capacity isnt it. Got any pics?
-
#8No sorry I got rid of them years ago all I could find was this of my old engine.
