if the clutch is slipping then the engine isnt transfering its power to the gearbox, and in turn not to the wheels.
so your not losing power at the fly but you are at the wheels

spining clutch well i would of thought that when your clutch is not on friction with your flywheel you gain power as your not driving your wheels ...... what do you think yes a spinning clutch of corse your going lose power

it doesnt always slip- was only saying when it doesnt feel like its slipping could it still be slipping without feeling or hearling it- only a slight slip- not a major slip i know that will make me loose power as revs go up but car doesnt move, didnt know wether im still losing power regardless it not sliping at the moment, its on and off sometimes it slips and sometimes it doesnt seem to slip but didnt know if im still losing bhp if it aint. cause oviously the clutch it worn out

you need to change the clutch.. then all will be well.

as said above you are loosing the ability to transfer the power to the wheels rather than loosing power per say.

yes you have hit the nail on the head you just answerd your own question it can slip with out hearing out and the revs will move up and car wont get a new clutch and you will be ok
