are these basically like what you see in rally cars? where they just flick it up and down? havent looked into it much but nowhere seems to explain it

lol your expecting a multi thousand pound sequential gearbox for less than 100 quid no that reduces teh throw between gears

lol, as it says, im a wannabe
  4. #4
is quikshift a good idea though btw?
  5. #5

yeah of course is it!!..it basically allows quicker gear changes!

it depends on how you drive obviously if you can change gears quickly 0-60 will be faster but really unless your planning on racing its not for town driving

absolutely brilliant those GMC ones.. Well worth it !
  8. #8
will it make town driving hard or anything or will it just be the same only less throw?
  9. #9
same , only alot less throw.

on the old ax gt there was a thing with the gear linkages. there were two settings... the first was the standard setting where the throw was quite far.. then you move one of the linkages to the second ball and cup joint and the throw would be much closer... the saxo should be a very simular setup... so try getting the mechanism from an ax gt and use that!.

it might be easier to get a quickshift but it will not be cheaper!.
