    right im so confused now so many people have said you need to change your dampers aswell as your springs and some have said you dont need to change your dampers just the springs please can someone help i need to know as i want to lower my vtr and could someone tell me how much to lower on 14" alloys? for it to look nice

    its fine.
    50mm at front, maybe 60 at back.
    girlfriend has this on her furio with vtr alloys, looks pretty much spot on.
    backs nice and leveld at 60mm too.

    missed the point completly there...
    no you dont NEED to change dampers.
    anything lower than 50mm, then its best to change/uprate dampers.
    should be fine on 50m

    how longs a piece of string...meaning what do you want? dampers/just springs/performance??

    wel supose i could go with jus 50mm springs at the moment and when saved the money for the whole kit buy it then

    springs will cost around £50-60ish
    fitting? well id fit them myself tbh as im doing the torsion bar...
    youl want the back doing aswell so if you took it to a garage ummm id say between £100 -£170 for fitting but youl have to do some searching because most garages wont touch the torsion bar, get friendly will some car park geeks and you could get one of them to lower it for you i suppose for cheaper =P
