   Hey guys,
   
   Basically my VTR wheels are in pretty bad shape from the previous owners, all the paint is peeling and there is major curbing. I'm considering refurbing them myself, what am I going to need to do it to a decent standard? How much am I looking at for everything?
   
   Trying to save myself a load of £, money is pretty tight :/

   firstly. Sand all down with 80, fill dents, scratches, kerbing etc with filler , sand 80, then 240 if neeeded, then clean the wheel like crazy, sugar soap is good for this. then you need high- build primer, one light coat wait 10 one heavy coat wait 10 and another heavy coat, best to the leave to dry other night, then sand with 1000 wet and dry with a little bit of washing up liquid, then spary the colour you want( same method as primer) then wait bout half hour the apply lacquer(same method as before)
   
   Sandpaper- max £5.00
   primer- max £15
   spray paint- max £8.00
   lacquer-max £5.00
   filler- max £5.00
   
   sould be able to get it all for under £30.00

   Use the the guide given but it does depend on if you take it back to the metal with paint stripper rather than sand to the primer,
   If you do go to bare metal you will need etch primer so the paint can stick to the metal and i also recommend high build primer if you have lots of small imperfections and then follow the guide.
