Important! : Alternator replacement

   Hi All, am a newb and recently got my first car Saxo 1.1, does anyone know or have a link to how to replace alternator. Battery light is constantly on and multimeter shows no charge from alternator. Garage i bought car from has posted a new alternator so just got to swap it out. Garage is 50 miles away so can't get car there for them to replace, got to DIY. Any help greatly appreciated.

   looks easy enough and plenty of space in engine bay only a 1.1.
   gonna have a crack at it.

   If you are going to do bits and pieces on the car it might be worth buying a Haynes book
