hi were is best to take the water feed of a vts engine for a t25 turbo
    thanks

needs to be pressure driven so t piece into the thermo stat hose as a feed and the return possible on the bottom hose of the rad?

Thats bypassing the rad then though which might not be ideal. You could probably get away with using the standard oil cooler takeoffs. The water is mostly there to cool the oil, you could actually get away with not having it plumbd in as long as you had good oil, an oil cooler and changed it regularly!

Its simply a small pipe T off after the rad then in to the header tank.

edit: Thats in to a header tank after its come out of the turbo core.

ive got a oil cooler relocation kit so wont need the old vts cooler thing so i asume by what your saying i can just connect the top rad pipe with the two extra pipe that fed the old oil cooler straight to the turbo and will the flow be ok or will most of the water bypass ....reason i say this is because water takes the fastest route and the vts cooler is badly designed i know it flows round it but it must be fighting its self on the way back up in to the same pipe if you know what i mean........... i have a niessans rad (if thats how its spelt) there is a drain point on that i think that will get it cuirlating through the rad only prob if i wanna change water have to take bottem hose of if i use that as its the turbo drain plug

the water feed i used for my vtr t2 turbo. one pipe was t pieced to the pipe that comes off the botton of the thermostat. then the other was t pieced at the back just befort the bleed valve if that helps mate

well you got a few options

1 - use the standard oil cooler top hose

pros - hangs in the right place so easy to sort to turbo
cons - is it under enough pressure

2 - t piece the lower thermostat hose and then back to the hose round back need to the bleed point

    pros - under pressure more
    cons - more work

so up to you really what ever is going to best for you

After looking at both of these options mate, im going for the header tank idea, as the oil cooler take off for a standard vts top hose would be under more pressure as previously said

Just make sure whatever you do go ahead with it works with whatever setup you go for as every single setup is different if diy
