whats with lexus lights ?

how come loads of people say lexus lights arent the thing to be having our days lol

i agree they arent that nice anymore but i was wondering why

?

i like the morette rear lights that can be colour coded, they look spot on, especially with a smoothed boot etc.

any thoughts?

If you want lexus lights, then buy a lexus.

They 'were' the thing to have in their days. But every other car has them. People who only have £50 to spend modifying a car buy them.

I'm not saying that they look cheap and tacky on all cars because I myself have seen some where they have been able to pull it off. But I would say 99% of lexarse lights do look tacky.

lexus lights have become tacky and chavtastic the same as hoodies and baseball caps. they were once nice when only a few people had them but now every twat has them. and i think that a lot of people are shying away from kits etc these days and prefer the subtle look.

i always stood up for lexus lights coz had em on mine and didnt think it looked to bad but since i put my standard ones back on last week i think it makes the car so much smarter and less chavvy.ive been converted.lol

I took mine off today actually. I was just fed up of dicksheads tailgating me and trying to race me everywhere because I had these lights on. Spose if you got lex-arse lights you are automatically classed as a boy-racer.
But I don't particularly dislike them.

I used to like them when they 1st came out years ago, but as said everyone started getting them and they do imo look tacky and cheap especially the chrome looking ones.

Smoked, standard, jewel and morettes are cool though.

when they came out they looked good, and still do if you make them, but you get people putting cheap neons all over there car and making them look cheap.

there should be a rule! lol

As for the leuxes lighs i have them on my car but i think they go with the car as i dont like any other style.. but i do agree it's nearly everyones first mod and people with 100year old cars can get them durt cheap so it gives them a bad name.

i got some jdm style lexus lights yesterday which have replaced my standard lexus lights and it dont alf make a difference!!!! they dont look cheap and nasty at all!
