saxo engine probs

   can anyone tell me why the hell the engine diagnostics light flashes and my car is only running on 2 cylinders and wont move.ive tried everything to fix it but nothing works.any ideas would be great thanks.

   take it to citroen and they'll hook it up to a diagnostic computer.
