106 gti bumper on mk1 saxo

   hi all i have a mk1 vtr and my mate has a completely smoothed gti bumper and was wondering if it'll fit? at first i thought it would be fine but the bumper is cut to the shape of the 106 headlight isnt it? need to b answered asap please
