Alloy removing bolt

    Hi Everyone

    I have lost my alloy removing bolt, does any one know how i can get a new one? can i just goto the dealer? My friend has one but its a different one!

    it depends what type it is to how you can get it off
    techniqure range from specialist tools to simply hammering a socket onto it

    but cant say without knowing the style

    Unless you have the make and key code it will be difficult
    any dcent garage or tyre place can get them off but you would new bolts

    They are the ones that came with the car if that helps!

    so not even citroen will have spares?

    smash a socket on it mate thats what i did with mine it does work its just a pain to get on its a 18mm that i used u have to literally smash it on tho.

    If it came with the car try Citroen, they keep sets of locking keys for Citroen supplied alloys.

    If they are proud enough you may be able to get a stilson wrench on to undo them (see below for outer ring).
    Failing that look at the bolt head, if it has a rotating ring around the key it has to be removed. Small sharp chisel and hammer.
    You can then try smashing a socket over it, but if the ooutside of the key is round as well you have a problem as they will have to be drilled out.
