    hi folks my car failed on my pass front balljoint is these easy to replace or do i need a registered mechanic to do it? proper pissed off

    seen a set of 2 on euro car parts for £21.30 just need to get cash up to buy them

    You can usually buy them for about £7 each

    Sometimes its possible to beat them in and out with a good hammer, but ideally have them pressed in

    If you take the wishbones off yourself to save on labour costs you should be able to get 1 pressed in for £10 or so

    is it hard to press in? or is it better hammering them in?

    Unless you've got a good vice to be honest you're more likely to do harm than good and damage the new one putting it in

    not sure if the other guy has a vice and mechanics over here would rip me off

    any one got pictures of fitting a balljoint? and is lemforder a good make the price is just over a 10er is that too cheap?

    i need new ball joint on p side, isi worth buying ball joint and paying to have it pressed in or cheaper to buy new wishborn???
