can the front bumper be de-slated??

    as above really just wanting to know if it can be done and how easy??

    im wanting to do this so i can mesh the bottom to match the grill when i do it also just wondering what colour i should do the mesh?? black,silver??????

    iv seen a vtr like this ... looked nice .. so i assume with some handy work it can be achieved.. nice idea mate....imagine chrome ? lol

    a few people on here have done it, search... ther are bound to be pics!
    im pretty sure Adsayer has a real sweet widemouth done... searh for his progress thread.

    could you locate the cold air feed in there then.. hidden obviously.. cause heat rises enit .. plus theres a bigger opening for air..

    Yep i did mine myself mate.

    Not too bad tbh as long as you know how to us fibreglass and filler and your confident using spray.

    I did mine without taking the bumper off the car (because im lazy)

    You may struggle getting cold air feed down there though bud. My manifold was in the way and i couldnt get it round my radiator either.

    Got my bumper widemouthed too! Looks reall smart! Can get panels that you bond in if you want an easier way
