#2lol @ clicks . . . do a search for the suzuki tuning guid, for lowering torsion bar.
make sure you lower it the correct way! and not the click way!
and a set of 60mm sprigns up front...sorted.
some may suggest changing shocks. -
#3dont forget to modify the power steering pipe too
-
#5ave a look at the FAQs or search for the pas problem
-
#6just cable tie / bend the pipe out the way. on a mk2 it with rub and eventually piss out pas fluid.
badgermotorsport.co.uk has the proper way of doing the bar. the clicks/notches way isnt accurate as will fuck up your beam after a while. at 60mm you'd be better off with the matching dampers as the springs will probably never seat right on a damper too big. would wear the standard one more aswell -
#7i dont seem to have a problem with my PAS . . . im down, much more than 60mm... checked all lines, nothing rubs, nothing catches...
i guess some people get the problem, and some dont. :/ -
#8whats the correct way of lowering the back?
-
#9getting uprated dampers.
dont jst lower the torsion bar on 60mm drop lol..... -
#11This is quite worrying. When i got mine lowerd it took him 45-50 minutes, so i assume he just clicked it down one? Which is wrong yeh?
-
#13if its the first time the bars have been out, there almost always seized in atleast a little. he mite not have done it the right way
-
#14how much you looking to spend?? i got mine done at demontweeks...for 60mm spax with front and rear dampers...fitted incl torsion bar to match..labour etc was 380...which isnt too bad...and they mod the pipe if you need to!! 01978 664466

#16What are the side efects of just doing it the click way??
Increased wear or failure??
