mk1 block mk2 head

   can this work also will it run with the mk2 ecu wiring loom etc
   
   
   did they put this combination in the early mk2's?
   
   
   its all idea for for when i start the rebuild of the turbo engine

   the mk1 & 2 bottom ends r the same apart from the oil filter locations

   yeh im building my 2day did sum reseach an went for the thicker steel head gasket , had the head skimmed an pressurer tested, had a bit ov confusion weather the head shud be skimmed with mill stone or just milled ??? any 1 no the differance
