hammerite is the way 4ward dont get cheap ass paint, get the decent stuff to keep a good look for a long time.

    did you use primer then?

i used halfrauds caliper paint(yellow) and i can confirm that its shite . hammerite would be better i think . not sure how it will stand up to hot brakes though

i painted my calipers using some standard spray paint, good stuff though cant for the life of me remember the name but its a good brand, not hammerite but still an excellent quality. didnt use any primer, just sanded down the caliper and made sure it was bone dry and smooth, then applied 3 good coats of the stuff. Im going to start a mini progress thread soon when i get time but so far its been a good month or two and it looks brilliant.

hammerite or caliper paint, your choice

i used hammerite for calipers and also cam rocker cover, mani cover, battery cover, ecu etc...did it all really well. its not "heat resistent" but it does well enough. 6.99 halfords mate and have alot more choice than halfords own.no primer needed, just wire brush calipers down with brake cleaner and then paint on with small brush (depends if your takin ur calipars off)
