Would I be able to fit a set of dials with a rev counter to my sax that just has a clock where the rev counter should be? And will it matter if it's a mk1 or 2 set of dials? Thanks

#2umm...im not 100% pal but when i fitted my aftermarket rev counter...i took the grey signal wire from the back of the ecu diagnostics n spliced the wire frm the rev counter n then earth etc you shud b able to as the ecu needs a signal source of revs for the rev limiter. on my vtr the other option is to splice into the coil pack.

#3its just a case of finding the signal source wuthin your car. haynes manual will show you. rev counter known as tachometer btw

#4Hmmm, I'd just get a set of dials with the rev counter on and fit them. Seen it done on a 106, but they said the temp reader didn't work.

#5if u no the temp guage wont work (which is pretty importnant) lol then y do it that way? halfirds stock a good tachometer for 50quid...looks smart in the centre console or even on the pillar in a pod. you can fit one mate get a haynes

#6I don't know that the temp guage won't work for certain. Just someone said that one their 106 it didn't work. I want the proper set of dials, not an aftermarket one. Bought a haynes manual off ebay and waiting for it to arrive.
