my R rims are off to be refurbed atm,
and i after a full set of tyres when i have them back.
i know a lot of you mention the toyo proxies t1-r,
    which is deffinately an option.
on my old zetec fiesta i had a set of avon zv1,
they seemed a good tyre as they lasted a while considering i was a heavy footed teenager wheel spinning out of every junction
so just which one would you choose really??

    toyo prxes t1-r
    or
    avon zv1

thanks a lot ladies and gents

avons are cheaper, they are both god mate, avons will last longer than proxes too mate

    thanks for the opinions,
i found the avons lastest really well,
if i go for the proxes am i gonna be spending that much time down the local tyre shop that the fitter thinks i have a thing for him,
or do they last a decent amount of time??

proxes will wear quicker because they are made from a softer compound so give more grip but don't last as long

    makes sence i suppose
    thanks,
probs end up going for the proxes as everyone seems to rate them

I'd rather people thaught I was bumming the tyre guy than have to do an emergency stop in the rain and not make it.

Wont get T1-Rs on a VTR rim but you can get some Proxee CF-1s which is what I have and I rate them a lot
