Gearbox annoying me

   Couple of weeks ago i was in my mates 1.1 saxo laughing at him because his gearbox squeeked so loud when he changed gear,sort of backfired beacuse mine is doing it now , only in 1-2 but its annoying anyone had same problem?

   does it happen when driving hard, sitting still, even when the engine is switched off?

   ermm happens most of time, yer when i sitting still it does, and preety sure it proberly does when engines off
   my mates squeeking comes and goes

   dry squeaky linkages, try abit of grease or lube
