Anyone had this before

   While driving in the lower gears as you lift off the throttle the car jurks forward which is normal.
   
   But as it does the is a squeaking noise coming from the engine bay.
   
   Was wondering if anyone has had this problem before and if not what could it be?

   mine was doing this in first and is now doin in through 1st to 3rd but realllllyyyyy loud going to get a mechanic to look at it this week i think its my air fillter though cause the guy who put it on (Before i bought the car) had tape over and put a bolt in one of the pipes i will let you no if i find a solution

   does it go after a while and do you have an up-rates exhaust?
   
   If you check the bolts that connect the exhaust to the down pipe, happen on my 106 when i had a new manifold and they just needed tightening, was like a really loud screech of metal.

   If you've just had any exhaust work done have it checked. I had a similar problem after having my centrepipe replaced. Turned out it was the dounut ring that wasnt seated properly.

    ok well its going to the mechanic tomoro hopefully hope its not to bad i aint got alot of wonga at the mo :'(

    think its just the engine moving on the mounts. mine dose this. Pain in the ass! Esp when crawlin along in 1st, need to put your foot down slightly, then you take it off you jerk and look like a nob

    Mine used to squeak when releasing the accelerator (kinda sounded like a dump valve squeak when changing gears but much quieter lol). Was coming from underneath the car though, and turned out to be exhaust mount.

    mines nothing like this its a sort of high pitched wistle and i cant get it in to the mechanic till monday ggrrrrrrr guna have to wait

    I have had an exhaust and induction kit fitted recently. but the problem was there before and still is now.

    I bet its one of the mounts, or an exhaust hanger
