vts cambelt question

   i'm doing the cambelt on my mk2 vts using the guide on here, but i cannot find where to lock the flywheel in place, i read that its at the front of the engine on the right hand side but where abouts? the only hole i can find is smaller than 5mm. any help is gratefully recieved!!!!!!

   I had the same problem mate. It isn't that easy to find and not ever so clear from the otherwise excellent guide on here. The hole is small (it has to be so that the allen key is a tight fit and timing is accurate) and slightly abscured by 'overhanging' metal cast into the block. Keep fishing with the allen key (holding by longest end and poking around with the short end) and you will find it.
