If you fit blue bulbs, you will end up with blue effect lights behind you too when the fuzz pull you

Get some HID's or xenon bulbs for bright white light

not sure on that, cos traffic cops te other night said it wasn;t illegal to have blue bulbs in, but pulled him anyway for a chat, but didn;t get done for blue bulbs. i agree it'll attract attention that is a pain in the arse.

Not quite. The description from the ones I have fitted (from the link I posted) say:

Halfords has a wide range of car maintenance products available to buy. Halfords Super Brilliant Blue Bulb Provide 50% more light than conventional blue bulb. Also gives your vehicle a distinct high tech appearance of gas discharge light whilst conforming to the relevant road vehicle lighting standards.

There are bulbs available that are legal but have a little bit of a blue look to them yet still give off white light. Just be careful though as actually blue headlights are actually illegal, are a MOT fail and will invalidate your insurance. If you get road legal bulbs for a reputable brand you will have no problem. Though even a slight blue tint can get the attention of the police.

Extreme Brilliance are better though, thats what i've got and they supposed to be 90% brighter, and the light is white so no hassle from them

the blue bulbs are not illegal in that they will pass an MOT and are safe to use on the road, but depending on their rating you can get done for "non-conformant lighting" i.e bulbs that give off blue light not white light.

thats why you should get the ones that look blue but give off white light
