Important! : Clocks dont work

   Hi peoples,
   
   got a problem ive got a mk2 02 saxo vts and the clock have stopped working. i have checked all of the fuses in the car and they are all still in tact. Do clocks just stop working? Nothing on the clocks work. from temp to revs?
   
   I have taken the clocks out cleaned the plug and connected again but still nothing
   
   I did see the red led by the temp sensor come on once?
   
   The car runs and drives fine HELP!!!
   
   I haven't tried another set of clocks cause i haven't go any. are there any other options?

   sometimes the clocks just fail, happened to me once, just replaced them and worked fine.

   Ive got a vtr and all mine stopped just disconnected the battery for a few minutes, reconnected and they worked!! Although I have had to do it a couple of times since....quick fix if it works tho....

   ok tried the battery thing today with no luck is there anyone around southend, essex what has these clocks that i could test in my car?

   ive heard of it when the circuit mucks up and you have to disconnect the battery for 10 mins and recconect it know you have done this already but maybe not as long ?

   aww have you got more dials to try ?
   sometimes my MPH dont work a quick hit an it works lol

    nope no other dials will any dials saxo digital dials work?

    Very old thread I know but what is the dial on the right and side? Oil temp level?

    They are vts clocks so the petrol is up top and yeah your right oil temp gauge.
