#4yeah they caught me out before too lol.. i nearly snapped the thing off before i realised lol ... its easy to remove mate but just make sure before you spray it you sugar soap it or something to remove dirt and polish .. then sand it and then primer spray and laquer.. that was you will get best results .. and for god sake let it dry lol ! theres nothing worse than fingerprints in your dash lol

#6yeah, just give lots of time to dry. tell you wat may be handy mate, were ur ashtray is at the bottom, theres a torx screw. near the screw theres kinda like a flat bit of plastic tht gets hidden when it goes back in (its the ashtray i think). i used this to put it the vice whilst i sprayed mine. got it nice and sturdy with no marks. just be careful and make sure when you replace the radio you dont scratch the paint off. i used halfords primer then folia tec white paint. looks nice. also, i did the driver/passenger heater grills too. imo do it a diff colour to ur car. as few people do the same as their car and i think its looks bland. mines posi blue and the interiors white. stands out better imo
hope this helps!
