Supersilent race system

   Right,
   
   The first thing is. Iv got a supersprint race system/Catback
   But iv heard everyone saying! there soo loud etc! raspy all that!.. But mines like no noise what so ever!! Its like having a backbox if that!..
   
   Now does this mean its blowing !
   
   or engine problems, I know one of the bolts came loose last week,But thats sorted! And its still not raspy or popping in the slighest
   
   Should i just get a manifold then see ?.. or could it be something more serious?

   Run it as a de-cat for the full benifit! but it seems odd that it would be so quiet??

   is this inside or outside the car?
   In a vts they are fairly quiet in the car with the cat still in the system.
   
   VTR's even quieter.
   
   Still loud outside the car, even in a vtr in the car they are not raspy just a low down town.
   
   if you want a system loud in the car, you will have to change it tbh.

   its cause of your cat
   i still have my piper system on my vtr and on all the other cars ive had its been decat and very loud
   on the vtr its pretty quiet tbh

   im assuming your cat is in the mani?
   
   if soo then its quiet cause you still have your cat there, remove that and it will be loud and raspy like everyone says, to decat your car you will need a manifold, or std mk1 mani if you cant afford a 421 mani, but gettting the 421 also adds to the rasp and loudness, so im told, im not too sure as i fitted a mani and race system at the same time

   butttt there is another way
   
   cam the vtr, that will make it louder and a bit of a deeper rasp lol
   
   mine changed quite a bit once i cammed it
   
   and it pops and bangs alot more
