new alloys rubbing??

   bought some alloys for me vtr
   when on full lock they catch
   or when you go over a bump they catch and you can smell the tyres realy bad. they are 195/45/15.
   is there anything i can do to stop them from rubbing?

   are the rear ones rubbing? Mine do the same thing on the rear and i found out theres a slight lip underneath the plastic trim, you need to get it rolled or cut down and then they wont touch at all. Im thinking about doing the same to mine as iv got a sub in the back and when i have people in it rubs like mad!

   yeah its the rear ones lol
   same got sub in and when i carry rear passenger.
   will be doing it tomorrow
   how come the front ones rub aswell??

   if you get it cut down make sure u spray it to prevent rust, thats what one of my friends did for his. Im not too sure about your front ones tbh, mines a flat arch so slightly different design, but id hazard a guess and say feel for a lip underneath the arch, and if its the same as the rear, then the same process of getting it rolled or cut. Im looking to probably roll mine, easier to do really
