few questions(forged pistons)

   got some forged pistons sittiing my room,there 79mm high comp(16v)
   this is proberly a stupid question but what size bore is needed(do i ask the machine shop to bore the engine to 79mm or some thing else?)
   and what are the biggest lift cams that can be used on standard lifters?(also not planning on any headwork if it makes a difference)
