Silver Hammerite painted alloys..

Reckon i could pull it off for trax?

My cars all nice and shiney, stayed up til 2am last night polishing, sealing, waxing, glazing it. Only thing is now i need a bonnet bra and 1 problem with my alloys. The paint has flaked on a couple..

Now i dont have time to refurb all 4... However i do have a can of hammerite in the garage =\. Underneath of the car is already all hammerited silver... So it wouldnt be too odd..

Only got til about 8pm tonight.. As me and a mate are making a weekend out of trax, going blackpool tonight, going camping tomorrow night, then trax on sunday.

So the choice i have is.. Flaking Alloys or Silver Hammerited Alloys..

Flaking is better than rushed, as you'll do it again when you come back.

    Touch them up or something?

    Hmm.

The flaking is pretty bad, picture doesnt show it.

I'm going to text my brother to see if he has any spare alloys lieing around.

if you hammerite them it will be an arse to get off when you come to refurb them

Sooo.. I got the paint out, opened the can with the flat head screw driver, mixed it up. Got my paint brush out.. Then bottled it.

    I thought i was a man, turns out i'm a pussy.

My car will be the one with the black flaking alloys at trax09, see you all there
