tinting rear lights

   im gunna be tinting my rear lights for my mk3 but only the orange bit so they look more like they do in pic below. baught some tinting spray so whats the best way to apply this for best resualts? will i need to sand and lacquer etc? thanx guy's

   don't sand the lights.
   Just mask and spray I think. Are there no instructions on the can?

   Yeah i just masked and sprayed and did the trick. Just more or less layers depending on how dark you want it.

   There are guides on here, on how to tint Saxo rear lights.... maybe the same method. Have a search

   to be honest the cans in me car lol aint realy read it lol but i herd some wear that its best to spray on and wet n dry it then lacquer it for a nice shine but i was woried this would ruin the light as its only plastic. but cheers guy's ill just apply it as neatly as poss
